The best site by far to visit is www.modchipsuk.freeserve.co.uk. This site has links to the required code and even contains photographs of the various circuit boards to aid identification.
The first thing you require is to program your PIC with the correct code. The mod chips web site (above) will contain the latest code to use. I have only used the 'Stealth' code version 2.7a which I can vouch for. This code has been replaced with v2.8 but for those of you out there who know what they like I have a copy here.
The next thing you'll need to know is where to stick your PIC (careful!). What you need is the model number of your Playstation, i.e. SCPH-7502.

There should be enough information there to enable the most ham fisted of people to successfully modify their playstation. However, if you succeed in blowing up your Playstation - you have only yourself to blame. I take no responsibility for your own handywork. I have merely supplied information, which to the best of my knowledge, is correct. However, I have used this information to successfully modify many playstations (all models except the 9xxx one).
